  • As required, complete cable tray designs, voltage drop calculations, conductor sizing, control/marshaling panel designs, I/O schematics, power distribution, field junction boxes, cable schedules, and other electrical design documents / deliverables.
  • Execute power system modeling, arc flash and short circuit analysis
  • Participate in the installation of electrical and control system equipment
  • Produce detailed design documentation that meets the technical and quality standards of the project requirements.
  • Participate in acceptance testing and deficiency-resolution management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelors in Engineering or a Diploma in Technology in a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.
  • Experience in modeling tools (ETAP, SKM, etc.) is preferred, but not required
  • Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal).
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Able to travel throughout Western Canada (Travel requirement of 10 – 20%).
