Having joined Catch Engineering after spending over a decade as a successful independent consultant, Jason is responsible for providing management and leadership towards Catch Engineering Telecommunications and Utilities engagements. His broad experience includes designing, constructing, operating, and managing technical solutions in electrical engineering, telecommunications, automation, oil sands, information technology, and cybersecurity. Prior to joining Catch Engineering, Jason held responsibility for the engineering and startup of several SAGD facilities and had been engaged in providing direction and project execution within Alberta’s utility infrastructure organizations.

Jason is Catch’s resident expert on high-capacity and high-resiliency, next-generation networks implemented using microwave, fibre-optic, and MPLS technologies. He is also qualified to offer expert opinion on secure critical infrastructure including radio towers through Internet information and network firewall security.

Jason is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and in 2013 was elected to the level of Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
