Favourite thing about Catch:
I absolutely love the culture and the people at Catch.
Joining the Catch Engineering team in early 2023, Galina is an organized, analytical, and results-driven professional with 15+ years of valuable energy industry experience. Galina’s core strengths are technical analysis, communication, team development and people management, and she strives to promote and encourage collaboration and communication amongst all project groups and team members to drive project success.
Her impressive track record includes leading large multidisciplinary project teams with a range of $10M to $250M TIC, spearheading the construction of critical infrastructure such as sulphur plants, rail offloading stations, green hydrogen facilities, electric vehicle charging stations, and fuel terminal stations, as well as managing green energy projects of various scales.
While these accomplishments are noteworthy, Galina is equally passionate about promoting gender equality within the STEM and engineering fields. As a leader at Catch, she is dedicated to breaking down the gender disparities that continue to plague the industry, both internally and externally.
As the VP of Projects, Galina firmly believes that integrity and quality are crucial to the success of any project. She is committed to fostering a company culture where these values are upheld and embraced by everyone, which is fundamental to Catch’s continued growth and success. Galina is excited to help lead Catch toward an innovative and dynamic future and to contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
Galina received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2009, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2011. She maintains her Professional Engineering registration in Alberta.
