Jason is Catch’s telecommunication subject matter expert, with extensive experience in the planning and design of mission-critical networks. Jason’s 25+ years of technical experience includes design, engineering and implementation of next-generation networks and services (Microwave Packet Radio, Voice-over-IP, >10-Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Optic Wavelength Multiplexing, Multi-Protocol Label Switching Networks), network security, and project management.
Jason’s industry experience includes roles as consultant, project engineer, lead engineer, and technical advisor for projects up to $250 M in value, for oil sands, oilfield services, oil and gas corporate operations, electric utilities, and telecommunication service providers.
Jason received his BSc in Electrical Engineering – Control systems and Digital Design, from the University of Alberta in 1997, and his PMP designation from the Project Management Institute. He maintains his Professional Engineer registration in Alberta and BC.
