Shawn Biswas, P.Eng., M.Eng.

Shawn is an Electrical Engineer with 7+ years of experience and expertise in power systems design and analysis including arc flash studies, protection device coordination, and fault analysis. His recent field of experience includes electrical design of EV charging stations in the USA and multi-disciplinary projects in the energy sector.

Shawn’s technical specialization includes Power Electronics, Power Systems (generation, protection, troubleshooting, fault analysis, power flow, stability), Machines, Control Systems, and Non-Conventional Energy Resources (Solar Energy).

Shawn received a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2017, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from St. Thomas’ College of Engineering and Technology in 2015. He maintains his Professional Engineer registration in Alberta.
